Post-Bacc

Post-Bacc is short for "post-baccalaureate". In English, that basically means "after you've already graduated college". The idea of a post-bacc is that if you've already graduated college, but you want to go on to a masters program that requires specific courses that you haven't taken while in college, you can just take those courses after college. Often, a university will have a special program where they offer those specific courses as a set package, for a fee.

A typical example, to help understand it better: Someone has a college degree, and wants to use it to go to medical school, but he's never taken the science courses that are required to apply to medical school. So although he has a degree, he has to find a way to take biology, chemistry, physics, etc, in order to apply to medical school.  To solve this, he can enroll in a special "post-bacc" program; this is a program that will provide him with all the courses he needs for medical school. Usually the programs, because they are tailored and also provide support for the standardized exams, application process, etc, often can be a bit more expensive than regular college courses.
